Last updated: July 13, 2026
Homeground ("we", "us") operates a property directory and introduction platform for Filipino homebuyers. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
1. Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our finder form, we collect:
- Contact details: full name, mobile number, email address, preferred contact method.
- Property requirements: preferred location, property type, intended use, budget range, preferred monthly payment, available cash, financing preference, timeline, bedrooms, important nearby locations, and any notes you add.
- Technical and attribution data: the page you submitted from, referring site, campaign parameters (UTM tags), and the date and time of your submission and consent.
We use your browser's local storage to keep a copy of your most recent buyer brief on your own device and to remember which campaign first brought you to the site. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
2. Why we collect it
- To prepare a buyer brief that summarises your requirements.
- To review your enquiry and, with your consent, introduce you to a participating authorised property representative who may match your requirements.
- To respond to your questions and manage our relationship with you.
- To understand which marketing channels bring visitors to the platform.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud and abuse.
3. Who we share it with
We share your enquiry only as needed to act on your request: with the participating authorised representative (such as a developer's sales team, licensed real estate broker, or accredited salesperson) we introduce you to, and with service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) system. These parties are required to protect your information and use it only for the introduction and follow-up you requested. We do not sell personal information.
4. Retention
We keep enquiry records only as long as needed for the purposes above, and then securely delete or anonymise them. You may ask us to delete your enquiry earlier at any time.
5. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
6. Security
We apply reasonable organisational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
